Thinking Of Buying That Property? 3 Things You Should Know To Protect Yourself From Getting Scammed

Finally, you stumbled upon your dream house and it’s perfectly located near everything!  Your heart is racing with the thought that you got to have it.  Why not?  You can afford it and it is exactly what you are looking for.
Stumbled upon your dream house?
Stumbled upon your dream house?
Wait!  There are important things that you should know to protect yourself from getting scammed.
Here are 3 of them…

1. Who are the real owners of the property?

Are the ones selling you the property the actual and legitimate owners, or just a representative of the owners, or worse…posing as the real owners?  You have to make sure that you are dealing with the rightful owners of the property before making the purchase as you may find yourself caught up in the middle of a legal battle for ownership dispute later on.
There are also cases of double sale, wherein the owner has already sold the property to another buyer, and the that buyer failed to register the sale and transfer the title to his name, and the owner sold it again to someone else.

Search From 2,272 BFS Foreclosed Properties Updated As Of May 9, 2014

We have just updated our listing of BFS foreclosed properties as of May 9, 2014. It took a little while to finish uploading the data in our Foreclosed Real Estate Database, but it is now done. Check out the details below.
BFS LOGO
The updated list, which comes directly from Bahay Financial Services (BFS), has a total of 2,272 foreclosed properties, with a total selling price of Php874,656,650.00.

What’s new, what’s not?

A total of 155 properties were added on the list, while the rest that were already in the database got updated with the latest selling prices.
Note: Pictures for the newly added properties from BFS are to follow, they will all be uploaded once available.
I noted that 254 sold properties were removed from the listing, which we also removed from the database.
This update supersedes all previous listings from BFS, including their recent “Summer 2D Max” promo, although I noticed that they actually reduced prices further (this is based on my own random checking).
